Gold Frankincense and Myrrh
To adequately discuss Gold Frankincense and Myrrh we must have a historical reference. Gold Frankincense and Myrrh was of course a gift from the wise men in the Bible Frankincense and Myrrh were used by the Egyptians in making mummies as well as by the Israelites. The Frankincense and Myrrh were used as powerful tools in stopping tissue degeneration or body breakdown and we have learned lessons from the past in using these powerful herbs to aid us in combating the disease of modern man.
Frankincense is carrier oil in that it penetrates membranes and cell walls. Frankincense is one of the few substances known to cross the blood barrier. A cancerous cell wall will loose its ability to transfer substances across the membrane. Therefore, not all herbs or medications can effect a cancerous cell. Agents like Frankincense, DMSO and very alkaline minerals like potassium phosphate and cesium are highly penetrable across the membranes and have the opportunity to act on a cancerous cell or a brain tissue that is separated by the blood brain barrier
Frankincense has hormone balancing properties as well as a powerful anti tumoral substance. It is reported by the desk reference as also being anti infectious and immune stimulant. Frankincense is high in terpenes which are anti infectious as well as high in limonese which has hormonal properties. Many cancers like breast, ovarian, and uterus, have a hormonal aspect to them. The hormone aspect of the cancers must be addressed. Frankincense and Myrrh have opposite hormonal effects on the body. For example one aids a low thyroid and the other a high thyroid. One increases estrogen and the more progesterone effect. The amazing effect they have together is that they become adaptogens. Adaptogens are agents that affect the body by balancing or creating homeostasis. Highly estrogenic women are reported to have higher rates of cancer while balanced hormone system does not.
For men, high levels of testosterone are found to exacerbate prostate cancer. What we find is that the relative levels of testosterone decline as the intake of these herbs increases. Over a period of 1 to 2 months of taking extra strength GFM, many men report having night sweats. This is a very positive sign that the relative testosterone levels have been reduced which is very good for the prostate. In addition, the sex drive is well maintained. For many men, particularly those with a high PSA and a Gleason score of up to 7 have reported great results by decreasing this relative testosterone as it relates to estrogen and progesterone.
